Lawyer has voiced out his frustrations and deep concerns as he passionately pleads with Nigerians to desist from launching incessant spiritual attacks against legal practitioners who are only carrying out their professional responsibilities.
In a recent revelation made on X (formerly Twitter), the Nigerian lawyer opened up about his personal experiences of facing various spiritual attacks connected to his role as a legal practitioner. He noted that these attacks are not isolated incidents but part of a worrying pattern where some individuals attempt to influence or harm lawyers through supernatural means.
According to him, certain individuals reportedly go as far as deploying charms and other diabolical practices in an attempt to affect the outcome of cases or to intimidate lawyers who are diligently performing their duties in the court of law.
In a heartfelt post on X, the lawyer made a direct appeal to the public, urging them to understand that lawyers are simply doing their jobs and should not be subjected to “juju” or any form of spiritual manipulation. He emphasized that their work involves defending clients, interpreting the law, and ensuring justice is served — not personal enmity against anyone.
He wrote …
“Please STOP USING JUJU ON LAWYERS; we are only doing our job.
Ewolosi gan.
Person go join NBA join Ogboni too ni?😒😒”
His post quickly stirred conversations across social media, with many sympathizing with him and acknowledging the pressures and unseen battles that legal professionals may face beyond the courtroom. Some users also recounted similar experiences, pointing to the widespread belief in spiritual warfare within professional environments in Nigeria.
Adding to the discourse, another lawyer, Festus Ogun, also shared his personal ordeal involving suspected spiritual manipulation. He narrated how he fell mysteriously ill shortly after coming into physical contact with an individual who had filed a case against his client during a pre-election litigation in 2022. According to Festus, the illness started unexpectedly after what seemed like an ordinary handshake.
Festus wrote …
“I did a preelection litigation in 2022. After successfully persuading the court to refuse his motion for joinder, the Applicant jokingly approached and shook hands with me. That was how the sickness started.
Thank you Blessed Virgin Mary for giving me a chance to tell the story.”
The revelations by these legal practitioners have sparked fresh debates on the extent of spiritual practices in Nigeria’s professional and judicial spaces. While some Nigerians dismiss such accounts as superstition, many others strongly believe that these incidents highlight the hidden battles faced by individuals who work in sensitive roles such as law, politics, and finance.
